Tech Five: Intel kicks off big earnings week

Tuesday kicks off the first of two big weeks for quarterly tech earnings. Let's look at the tech stocks to watch Monday:

Intel. The chip maker reports third quarter earnings after the markets close Tuesday. Intel is projected to report an earnings per share of 65 cents off $14.4 billion in revenue, according to estimates compiled by Bloomberg.

eBay. The online marketplace reports third quarter earnings Wednesday, weeks after announcing it will split from the online payments service PayPal. The split takes effect in 2015. EBay is forecast to report $4.4 billion in revenue with an earnings per share of 67 cents.

Netflix. The streaming media giant reports third quarter earnings on Wednesday, fresh off its new four-film deal with comedian Adam Sandler. Last quarter, Netflix reported its earnings more than doubled, with $1.34 billion in revenue.

Google. The tech titan reports third quarter earnings after the bell Thursday. They're forecast to report revenue of $13.22 billion with an earnings per share of $6.33.

Apple. The company hosts an event on Thursday, where it is widely expected they will reveal the next iPad. Like the new iPhones, which launched last month, the next iPad is expected to boast a larger screen.
