In 15 minutes, you can save money on your car insurance, achieve Warholian fame, and in about a month, even test drive the new Apple Watch.

Starting on April 10, folks will be able swing by an Apple Store for a time-limited trial at new try-on stations Cupertino is adding to its retail outlets, according to a new report from 9to5Mac.

Shoppers don't necessarily need an appointment, according to the site. But you can expect a long wait, and keep in mind that store employees are likely to usher folks along for steady traffic flow.

If, in 15 minutes, you fall madly in love with the wearable and can't bear to spend another day without it, you'll have to wait until the April 24 launch date to buy one. But Apple will allow consumers to make a follow-up appointment to pick up the watch two weeks later, 9to5Mac reported.

Apple Stores will also have launch-day stock for walk-in appointments, the site said.

Cupertino is accepting pre-orders starting April 10 for all three models of its smartwatch: Watch, Sport, and Edition. The Sport starts at $349 for the 39mm version and $399 for 42mm; the mid-tier Apple Watch is priced at $549 for the least expensive version but can reach $1,099, depending on the band you select.

And if you've got some extra pocket change, the high-end Apple Watch Edition starts at $10,000 (you're paying for the 18-karat gold alloys, Retina display, sapphire crystal screen, and uniquely designed straps).

The device requires an iPhone 5 or better running iOS 8.2 for syncing. Once paired with your smartphone, the Apple Watch lets you control notifications and alerts sent to your wrist, as well as load new apps.

Apple is apparently taking the rollout of the Apple Watch pretty seriously. Per 9to5Mac, Apple Store staff is being given extensive training on the wearable and being spread out several in-store Apple Watch "zones" —a try-on area, a sales area, and an area where general questions are fielded. A fourth zone is dedicated to the gold Apple Watch Edition model.

And as Apple Watch frenzy reaches a fever pitch, the majority of Apple Store staff will be allocated to assisting customers with the device, according to 9to5Mac. Just 10-25 percent will be tasked with helping shoppers with their computer, smartphone, tablet, and accessory needs, at least in the initial rush for Apple's first smartwatch.
