Clicking the tiny Windows logo prompts users to enter their email address to receive an alert when their operating system upgrade is ready for download. Windows 10 will be a free update for Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows Phone users, but it will not be on mobile devices at launch. The operating system is designed to be a seamless platform that runs across PCs, tablets, smartphones, Xbox games consoles, and more.
