Sonos has already made it clear that its range of wireless speakers would not support Apple Music when it launches on Tuesday (June 30) - but that's not to say it won't arrive at all.

"Sonos will not have Apple Music on it at launch but we fully expect to support them when they're ready to focus on the home listening experience," the company said earlier this month, and it appears Apple are already working on it.

According to The Verge, Sonos has confirmed that the two firms expect to introduce support "before the end of the year".

Sonos already supports the likes of Spotify, Deezer, Google Music and many more.

In March Tidal joined the crowd, offering lossless-grade music playback across multiple devices with around four times the audio quality of its rivals.

A subscription to Apple Music will cost $9.99 per month for an individual membership or $14.99 per month for a family plan for up to six people when the service launches on June 30.
