Apple Seeds Fourth OS X El Capitan Beta to Public Beta Testers

Apple today seeded the fourth beta of OS X El Capitan to public beta testers, nearly one week after seeding the third beta and just under a month after providing the first OS X El Capitan beta to the public for testing purposes.

The fourth public beta follows the launch of the sixth OS X El Capitan developer beta, which was seeded to developers yesterday. Aside from new wallpaper, no outward-facing changes were introduced with beta six, suggesting it's largely an under-the-hood update with bug fixes and performance improvements.

Beta testers who have signed up for Apple’s beta testing program and already have the public beta installed can update through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store.

OS X 10.11 El Capitan is expected to be released to the public in the fall after the beta testing process is complete.

1.43GB on Retina MBP 15. Must say, I'm already noticing massive performance improvements over Yosemite - I just hope they've finally done something about after effects in this release!
Issues with After Effects will be Adobe's problem to fix, not Apple's.

So you ingnore all warnings and common sense and put your computer at risk, but still feel you have a right to complain when you do such idiotic things?

So would you cut your brake lines on your car then complain to the car maker when you crash into a tree? Your logic is totally twisted.

You better hope nothing serious happens when you take dumb risks. Then again I bet you'd come here to complain about it too.
Before you type so much you shouldn't jump to conclusions about someone you don't know and know so little about their computer system too. For your information I not only have multiple back ups of El Capitan, but also of Yosemite. Don't assume everyone out there is an idiot just because some apps crashed. I'm ignoring you.

Hell the last two days I've bumped into a few nasty characters on this forum so I'm logging out for a while. I'm not dealing with people's first world problems.

That's actually not entirely true. It depends on why it isn't working. For example during iOS 7 betas vine, snapchat and Facebook all were broken and fixed by apple before release.

I am installing over Screen Sharing / Back to My Mac. I was surprised to see the installer screen, i had assumed my session would have been punted for the install process, but it reconnected after reboot. Neat!
