CareerBliss 50 Happiest Companies in America Reveals the Happiest Companies for Employees in 2016

IRVINE, Calif.--()--After receiving thousands of independent employee reviews and analyzing hundreds of companies, CareerBliss announces the 6th annual CareerBliss 50 Happiest Companies in America for 2016, honoring the top companies dedicated to cultivating happier work environments. Thousands of employees from companies around the nation submitted confidential company reviews on CareerBliss.com, ranking their employers on the key factors that impact overall employee happiness. Topping the list is a leading healthcare organization, UnitedHealthcare. Following the Minneapolis-based healthcare organization is biotechnology giant Amgen Inc. and the multinational pharmaceutical corporation, Novartis International AG. These companies beat notable technology corporations including Adobe (No. 9), Google (No. 18), Microsoft (No. 38), and Apple (No. 48). Consistent themes amongst the 50 companies that made the 2016 list are career development support, a positive relationship with managers and a strong company culture.

Qualcomm (No. 32) has made the CareerBliss Happiest Companies in America list for 6 years in a row. Others such as Google, Texas Instruments and Intel have made the list 5 years straight. Dropping from the list for the first time in 5 years is the Walt Disney Company.

Newcomers to the Happiest Companies include: Metropolitan Life Insurance, BMW, CenturyLink, MindTree Limited and Visa.
