Microsoft Leaves Possibility of Releasing Other Games on the Wii U Open - News

Microsoft has hinted that it could release other games on the Wii U in the future, following the release of Minecraft: Wii U Edition.

Last week the official Microsoft Studios Twitter account replied to a fan Tweet requesting Rare Replay come to the Wii U, following the announcement of Minecraft: Wii U Edition.

Although the Twitter account largely passed the buck on to Rare, it does suggest that Microsoft is relaxed about the possibility of other titles releasing on Nintendo platforms.

In a Tweet earlier today Microsoft Studios revisited the discussion, confirming that at present no other games are in the works for the Wii U.

If Microsoft were to release another game on the Wii U, however, then Rare Replay would seem to be the most likely candidate given that several of the games in the collection were originally released on Nintendo platforms.

Would be cool to see but I can't imagine a companies first party offerings appearing on another game system at least not while it's still doing well (dream cast games popping up on the ps2/GC)

I think both companies could, maybe, possibly, perhaps, put "some" games on Nintendo platforms, because they SEE that Nintendo isn't trying to compete with them.
They SEE that Nintendo is capable of doing their own thing, unlike Sega, and that MAYBE, just maybe they (Microsoft AND Sony) could support Nintendo w/of directly competing with their own software.
