HP Falcon phone rumored to arrive during MWC 2016

(HP)HP Falcon phone rumored to arrive soon

With MWC due to kick off in February next year, there have been a lot of rumors about devices and smartphones that could arrive during the show. Added to these rumors is one that refers to a Windows 10 phone that is supposedly being created by HP.

Reporting on the rumored arrival of the Windows 10 phone from HP, Ubergizmo states that it is likely that the device could be released during MWC 2016. Next year, Mobile World Congress is due to happen on Feb. 22 - Feb. 25 and it is rumored that HP, which is right now associated with printers and photocopy machines, will use the device to make its presence felt in the smartphone market. There are also indications that, in addition to the Windows 10 operating system, the Falcon will have the latest Snapdragon 820 chipset on board.

However, the rumor about the HP Flacon having the Snapdragon 820 chipset on board is not new. Earlier this month, a piece of information surfaced on the benchmark site, GFXBench, which showed that the phone was powered by the latest chipset from Qualcomm. If this particular piece of information is true, it means that the HP Falcon could find itself being counted as one of the best flagships in the market. However, as of now, there is very little information about the design of the smartphone and the latest rumor also indicates that HP has yet to make a final decision on the project.

The HP Falcon also showed up in data that was released by a company that tracks the usage of Windows 10 Mobile. The revelation was reported by GSMArena, which showed the HP Falcon even though the device has not been released in the market. This data also indicated that the HP Falcon will come with a 5.4 display and a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels.
