Reports just arrived that Apple plans on opening its first in-mall outlet in Mexico City, and now the company has started taking job applications online.

Sopitas, a local website, quotes a statement from Apple in which the Cupertino-based company confirmed that it has a new Apple Store in the works. Residents of Mexico City will be able to get a real feel of what Apple has in store at the Santa Fe Mall.

If you wish to start a career inside Apple's brick and mortar store, you may apply for the retail jobs via the official website.

To spike your interest, there are job openings in posts such as Leader Program, Business Manager, Business Leader, Creative, Expert, Genius, Inventory Specialist, Manager, Market Leader, Service Specialist, Specialist, Store Leader and Business Specialist.

"We are very excited to begin the process of hiring the team that will open our first Apple Store in Mexico," Apple told Sopitas.

The company added that it looks forward to generating the best customer experience for its Mexico City clients and to promote the level of entertainment that Apple fans enjoy on a global scale.

The iPhone manufacturer says that the soon-to-be Apple Store will be located in the Via Santa Fe posh wing of the Centro Santa Fe Mall complex. The Mexico City opening heralds the expansion of Apple's outlets in Latin America.

Voices familiar with the expansion say that Apple aims to open a second offline store in Mexico City in the near future. If rumors are true, the second outlet should match the size of other flagship stores such as those in China or San Francisco.

Sopitas states that Apple has plans to open two more retail stores, one in Monterrey and another in Guadalajara.

Moreover, the company who brought iOS into the market will focus on other South American countries, such as Chile, Peru and Argentina.

Currently, there are no more than two brick and mortar Apple Stores in South America, and both of them are in Brazil. To compensate for the tight offline presence, Apple has an online sales force that operates in the region, sporting dedicated stores for each country.

Before the opening of the first Brazilian Apple Store, Apple sent out a number of experienced U.S. retail employees to train the local team of sellers and customer service providers. While the commercial space was a great way for local Apple fans to experience the latest from the company, it also helped curious Android users to get accustomed with Apple's products.

The company gave no official announcement on when the Mexico City Apple Stores will open to the public, but the report affirmed that Apple will open one store per year.

CEO Tim Cook also tweeted about the job openings.
