A high-fashion version of Apple's smartwatch is making its online debut this Friday.

According to Fashionista, the Apple Watch Hermès will be available on Apple.com and the Hermès website starting Jan. 22. Previously, it was available to buy only in select Hermès and Apple stores, as well as a handful of other retailers.

The haute couture timepiece comes with a stainless steel clock, exclusive watch face, and three different styles of leather strap—"Single Tour" for $1,100, "Double Tour" for $1,250, and an extra-wide Cuff for $1,500.

All models feature a customizable face with three exclusive Hermès-themed dials; the company signature is also etched onto the back of the watch.

Cupertino announced its partnership with the French fashion house in September, turning the already-extravagant device into a true luxury item.

"Apple and Hermès make very different products, but they reflect the deep appreciation of quality design," Apple's chief design officer Jony Ive said last fall. "Both companies are motivated by a sincere pursuit of excellence and the desire to create something that is not compromised."

Those tech-savvy fashionistas, however, may want to hold off on buying the gadget: December reports tipped a next-generation Apple Watch in March. The updated wearable would ship by April, a year after the original model hit the market. Rumors point to a built-in camera and new wireless technology.

The springtime event, meanwhile, may include the launch of a 4-inch iPhone, with an A9 chip, slightly curved glass, and NFC support.
