VENICE BEACH, Calif. — Since 2007, the iPhone has been on one amazing ride, with Apple selling nearly 1 billion of the must-have digital devices.

But has the gravy train come to an end?

Apple reported quarterly results this week that for the first time didn't show a bump in iPhone sales, and warned that the current quarter wasn't going to be pretty.

Did the new features of the iPhone 6S just not entice anyone, or have the phones gotten so good there’s just no reason for us to upgrade?

We explored the topic on this week's #TalkingTech Roundtable podcast, a star-studded affair that featured tech guys--WhoSay's Steve Ellis, Weebly's Dave and Steve Haase, the founder of the new app Caremob, along with comedians Heather McDonald and Tiffany Haddish.

McDonald is the host of TLC’s All About Sex and tours the country with stand-up gigs. Haddish will return March 13th to her co-starring role on the NBC comedy The Carmichael Show. TalkingTech is recorded at TuneIn Studios here in Venice Beach.

Also on this week's show: virtual reality. Google says 350,000 hours of virtual reality video has been watched on YouTube. Has anyone here watched? We explore whether 360 video can really be the next thing.

And how do you feel about watching your friends reporting live from your Facebook news feed? After testing the feature for celebrities and journalists, Facebook opened the live video feature Thursday to 100% of it’s mobile users on the Apple platform today. Look out — Joe Schmo is about to give you the latest on what he had for breakfast.

We also explore how to make a website really easily, via Weebly, and hear about the new Caremob app, just out Thursday, that promises to let people turn their content into a global movement.

Finally, what percentage of your social followers actually see your post when it goes on Facebook? Steve Ellis has the number, and it's so small, it will shock you.
