He's already been immortalized on film by Josh Gad and Seth Rogen. Now, Steve Wozniak is making his own impression—in wax.

The Apple co-founder is the latest Silicon Valley legend to be displayed at Madame Tussauds museum in San Francisco. In a public vote, Woz beat nine other finalists for the position, including Tesla's Elon Musk, Lucasfilm's George Lucas, Google's Larry Page, Facebook's Sheryl Sandberg, Yahoo's Marissa Mayer, and Pixar's Edwin Catmull.

To create the wax version of Wozniak, he had to sit for more than two hours while a team of sculptors and artists took more than 250 measurements.

They also captured hair, skin, and eye colors in an attempt to create an exact wax match. (At least, exact enough that you'll be able to fool friends into thinking that selfie was taken with the real Woz.)

The completed figure will be valued at a reported $350,000.

A self-proclaimed Madame Tussauds fan, Wozniak said he doesn't know how he'll feel when he comes face-to-face with the wax-sculpted version of himself. "I'm probably going to have an immense rush of pride and chills," he said in the announcement video (above).

He won't have to wait much longer to find out: The new figure will debut during Wozniak's Silicon Valley Comic Con keynote address next Saturday, March 19. After SVCC, Woz's figure will stand side-by-side with Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg in the Tech Room of the Fisherman's Wharf museum.

"I am incredibly excited to be inducted into the Madame Tussauds family. I remember visiting the London museum as a kid, and how cool it was to see Mark Knopfler's figure in wax," Wozniak said in a May statement. "I can't wait to see my figure next to Jobs—it'll be just like old times."

Madame Tussauds did not immediately respond to PCMag's request for comment.
