AMD has announced the availability of a new Radeon Crimson Graphics driver, namely version 16.3.1 hotfix, which updates Crossfire Profiles for Hitman once more and adds support for the new Need for Speed title.

In addition to that, this release fixes intermittent hangs on UE4 apps, as well as the black screen/hang after launching Oculus Video App, and removes the bug that caused DirectX12 frame rates to be locked to the monitor’s refresh rate.

Moreover, users will now see all installed and played games in the Radeon Settings “Gaming” tab. Also, AMD recommends applying this package using the default GUI installer, as the command line may not work for some users.

When it comes to supported OSes, the producer has provided two downloadable executables compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems, one for each 32- and 64-bit variants.

That said, if you consider an upgrade, save the downloadable file appropriate for your system configuration, run it, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a complete installation.

Still, make sure that your GPU model is listed as a valid product; otherwise, the installation will fail. Also, once finished, make sure to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly.
