Dell wants to help your business get virtual reality-ready—whether you're creating or consuming content.

The PC maker on Thursday announced upgraded Precision Tower Workstations with increased performance, graphics, and memory for VR content creation, which will "support an optimal VR experience" for professional users. The machines are optimized to work with the HTC Vive ($99.99 at Amazon)  and Oculus Rift VR headsets, both of which require powerful PCs to operate effectively.

The Dell PCs, which will be available starting April 5, feature the minimum CPU, memory, and graphics requirements to support VR, plus graphics drivers that are qualified to work reliably with these solutions.

The Precision Tower 5810, 7810, and 7910 Workstations and Rack 7910 feature new Intel Broadwell EP Processors with more cores and better performance, ideal for "professional modeling, analysis, and calculations." They also boast the latest professional graphics technology from AMD and Nvidia, up to four times faster performance, and up to 1TB of DDR4 Memory running at 2400MHz speed.

The Precision Tower 5810, 7810, and 7910 Workstations and Rack 7910 can be found on Dell's website.

"This next generation of VR brings immersive visualization to the masses by democratizing the technology," Rahul Tikoo, executive director and general manager of Dell Precision workstations said in a statement. "The implementations are endless, and Precision aims to address the need for more rigor when professional creators demand the utmost in performance and reliability while building incredible VR content."

The new PCs come just in time for the Oculus Rift, which launched this week.
