Intel Corp. Chief Executive Officer Brian Krzanich has persuaded mobile-unit leader Aicha Evans to withdraw her resignation and stay at the chipmaker, people familiar with the matter said.

Evans, who had handed in her notice as of earlier this month, has told colleagues she’s staying, and Krzanich informed staff at an internal meeting that she isn’t leaving the company, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the matter hasn’t been made public. A company representative declined to comment, and Evans didn’t respond to requests for comment.
