Windows 10 Build 14332 Now Available, New Bug Bash Quests Inbound

Microsoft has released a new build of Windows 10 14332, for both desktop and mobile, and they are also kicking-off Bug Bash with Windows Insiders. In this release, there are a couple of new features, lots of bug fixes, and new issues as well.

In this release, using Bash with networking has been improved and for Command Prompt, windows scaling for High-DIP displays has been updated. Microsoft has also enabled the ability for Cortana to search Office 365 connected content including emails, contacts, calendar as well as files in OneDrive for Business and SharePoint; this release also has improved battery life for Connected Standby PCs.

Finally, Microsoft is adding a built-in network speed test to Windows but unfortunately, it’s not fully functional in this build. While this function was available using PowerShell, giving it a proper UI and a home in the Settings panel will make it easier to access for many users.

With this release, Microsoft is starting up a new bug bash program with Windows Insiders. Over the course of the next four days, new quests will appear in the Feedback hub and the idea here is that these open ended quests will help Microsoft target and identify bugs to help find solutions and the causes of the issues.

There are two types of new quests, limited time (24 hours to complete) and advanced which are more technical and may require you to configure your device to a specific scenario. Check out the Feedback hub after you download the build to learn more and how you can help fix bugs in the OS.
