Microsoft joins hands with TANSTIA to accelerate SMBs with modern Windows 10 devices

Chennai, May 11 (KNN) Microsoft and Tamil Nadu Small and Tiny Industries Association (TANSTIA) have come together to provide a range of modern business devices powered by Windows 10 Pro, to support the growth of Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) in the state.

Microsoft together with its OEM partners – Acer, Datamini, Dell, Lenovo, HP, and Smartron among others, is bringing a suite of laptops, desktops and hybrid (2 in 1) devices for TANSTIA’s member SMBs, the association said in a press release.

These devices address three crucial needs of SMBS – Productivity, Security and Cost Effectiveness.

The devices being offered today harness the power of Windows 10 Pro to work seamlessly across form factors including notebooks, tablets and innovative 2-in-1 hybrids, desktops and powerful workstations with keyboard, mouse and large displays. They allow SMBS to leverage cost-effective technologies and tools to foster collaboration using mobility and the Cloud as the major building blocks for taking their business to the next level. 

With these devices, SMBs can manage the day-to-day challenges of anywhere, anytime access to data and business tools to stay competitive and productive, while also ensuring their data as well that of customers is secure.

To make adoption of technology easier for SMBs, Microsoft and its OEM partners are making these devices available for TANSTIA members at prices starting from INR. 14,999. Some key devices being offered include the Acer Travelmate P645 notebook, Datamini TPOS7 tablet Dell Latitude 11 5000 Series 2-in-1, HP Spectre Pro x360 2-in-1., Lenovo ThinkPad Lenovo X1 Yoga, and the Smartron TBook 2 in 1.

In addition, Microsoft is bringing cloud powered solutions, developed by its ISV partners to address crucial business needs of SMBs in the state. Together with Microsoft Office 365 – Smarter SMB and IDOS address key areas like Business Efficiency CRM, Finance and Accounting. Quadrasystems.net India Private Limited (Quadra), a Microsoft Gold Competency partner will lead the deployment of these solutions in the state.

Smarter SMB by Smarter Biz: is a CRM application built on Microsoft Excel and helps SMBs manage customer relationships, optimize sales, and improve communication and collaboration with customers. IDOS is a Microsoft Excel-based simple-to-use accounting software which comes with in-built compliance and real-time internal audit capabilities.
