HPE announces OpsBridge analytics-driven IT software

Business launch

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced its Operations Bridge Suite (OpsBridge) analytics-driven IT management software.

OpsBridge gives IT managers key insights about the performance of their hybrid applications and platforms, meaning they can ensure everything is running to maximum efficiency.

“To keep pace with constantly evolving business environments, IT teams need tools that harness big data to optimize their fluid infrastructure landscape,” said Tony Sumpster, senior vice president and general manager, IT Operations Management at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

“HPE Operations Bridge Suite helps customers transform IT organisations from a cost function to a value creator by simplifying and automating IT operations, and gives unique real-time visibility to help executives make decisions faster.”

OpsBridge is powered by HPE Vertical to automatically finds and manage applications running both on-premise and on cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, HPE Helion Openstack and other OpenStack distributions.

It makes managing such applications a more automated process, so IT managers don’t have to waste time making sure their applications are running to full capacity manually. It also includes integration with collaboration platforms such as Slack and HipChat via ChatOps so departments can keep on top of what’s happening at all times.

HPE added that the software will help streamline hybrid application management, breaking departments free from the fragmented services that make it more complicated to ensure systems are running at optimum efficiency.

“As we move forward in our digital transformation journey, we are continuously challenged by legacy systems that support some of our operations,” said Jay Rooney, system analyst at Vancity Credit Union.

“Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Operations Bridge solution gives us tools we need to automatically sense what’s happening, analyse our data and then adapt through remediation.”
