"Just ran into a client who has a sticky cursor in the Finder on Lion. Clicking and dragging, or double clicking a folder or file in the finder, the object clicked/dragged won't 'let go'. Command-Option-P-R doesn't work. Reinstalling the latest Combo updater 10.7.4 doesn't resolve the issue. Running Applejack didn't solve the issue. Repairing permissions did not solve the issue. Forcing Finder to reload got rid of the stuck file or folder but immediately on trying to open, move, drag a file or folder the problem is still there. Booting into other accounts on the MacBook Pro doesn't solve the issue; the issue remains in all accounts. Booting into Safe Mode *does* solve the problem, so it is some plug-in, some extension, some *thing*. But for the life of me I can't find anything. Three hours struggling to find the source of this." "I've got a Canon Pixma 9000 Mark II, and I've been seeing darker prints with Aperture as well. Tried the same print from iPhoto, and it was a little lighter...but overall, still an issue. My guess is that when you print from Aperture that Aperture is handling the color (luminance) management. When you print from iPhoto, it's the Canon printer software that is. I have the same issue with Lightroom." MacInTouch 8:13 AM

"I thought you might be interested in this brewing display defect with the MacBookPro Retina display, knows as the 'Black screen of Death' which happens when a user logs in and gets a black screen requiring reboot.: The problem seems to be with the graphic switching, such that going to discrete graphics all the time prevents the problem. Needless to say this is not ideal given battery issues. Many many posts about this on Apple's discussion boards, but no fix. I hope this isn't one of those defects that Apple hope people will tolerate until the next rev of the hardware, which they seem to do sometimes." MacInTouch 8:14 AM
