This is hysterical garbage. You can't even count Meg Whitman's answer because it was based on the iPad being a PC. It's OS X v. Windows. That's what operating systems run personal computers. Tablets are run by iOS, Android, RIMS's OS and others coming from Msft. Apple wins in the mobile OS category for tablets but Andoid via their partners will overtake Apple.
So fuzzing up the stats to make Apple number one in PC's is just stupid. One stupid analyst can't change an Apple into an orange unless the media is dumb enough to swallow it. On a personal computer I do CAD and I certainly can't do that on any iOS device.
Apple is the number one mobile devices company in the world. That's how Steve saw it and it's how I see it too. The rest is just a stupid media game.
