Best List: Just Mobile HeadStand Avant
If you’re one of those folks who wants a designated spot to store a favorite pair of headphones, you are (oddly enough) not alone.
For about $40, Just Mobile makes a beautiful and functional space-saving stand to hang those cans, avoiding additional clutter to one’s workspace, studio or nightstand. The stand itself is sleek and minimal adding a stylish solution to storing and displaying headphones.

Designed by Danish studio, tools design, the HeadStand Avant is characteristic of the company’s simplistic and innovative approach to its products. Built from solid, aircraft-grade aluminum, the designers make their mark in a precision-engineered polished stand with a radial-brushed base. The stand is perfectly balanced and has a rubberized foot at its slightly-weighted base, so it won’t topple over with even the heaviest set of headphones. The aluminum design complements well any Mac or iOS device.
Assembly is simple. There are four aluminum pieces to the stand. First, screw the pole into the base, and secure with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Unscrew the piece at the top of the pole to attach the horizontal arm. Screw the small retaining disc to the arm, and voilá — all ready to store and display some headphones!
The retaining disk prevents even the largest of headphones from slipping off the stand, and mirrors the circular base in design. Store several sets of smaller over- and on-ear headphones, or one large set. It easily accommodates my largest pair of headphones, the SteelSeries Siberia 650, and coming in at $200 they warrant a beautiful storage spot. Stand comes in either black or silver.
