The latest Intel mobile and desktop processor details have just leaked out over various sites. The included details reveal the specifications of several mobility Coffee Lake parts which include Core and Xeon variants along with pricing of the upcoming desktop parts which will be released in the coming month.
Intel Coffee Lake Mobility and Desktop CPUs Details Leak Out - Core i9, Core i7, Core i5 and Xeon For Notebook Platforms
First up, we have details for the high-performance mobility lineup which will be based on the 8th generation Coffee Lake architecture. According to the leak, there are at least seven Coffee Lake mobility high-performance processors releasing which will feature up to 6 cores. The 6 core CPUs will be aimed at both Xeon and Core based mobility parts and extend Intel's grip of the notebook and workstation mobile platforms.
Intel Core i9-8950HK - The Flagship 6 Core Mobility Chip With Up To 4.8 GHz Clock at 45W
The flagship SKU of Coffee Lake-H series will include the Core i9-8950HK which is a 6 core part with 12 threads. This chip features 12 MB of L3 cache and will be geared to run up to 4.8 GHz clock on a single core while all core boost will be set at 4.3 GHz, base clock will be set at 2.90 GHz. This is quite a jump for a mobility chip and we can also expect the processor to feature full support for overclocking.
Intel Core i7 and Core i5 Coffee Lake-H Parts Squeeze More Performance Into Notebooks
The other SKUs include the Core i7-8850H which leaked a few days ago. This is also a 6 core, 12 thread part but lacks the Core i9 branding. The reason is that it has no overclocking support and will feature lower clock speeds. The chip has 9 MB of L3 cache compared to full 12 MB on the i9 SKU and will feature clock speeds of 2.60 GHz base, 4.0 GHz boost (all core) and 4.3 GHz (one core boost). The other 6 core, 12 thread part is the Core i7-8750H which comes with the same specs as the Core i7-8850H but has clock speeds of 2.20 GHz base, 3.9 GHz (all core) and 4.1 GHz (one core boost).
There are also two quad core parts with 8 threads. These include the Core i5-8400H and Core i5-8300H. Both feature 8 MB of L3 cache and the former features clock speeds of 2.5 GHz base, 4.1 GHz (All core) and 4.2 GHz (one core boost) while the latter features clock speeds of 2.30 GHz base, 3.9 GHz (All core) and 4.0 GHz (one core boost) frequencies. All chips in the Coffee Lake-H lineup will include the Intel UHD 630 graphics chip which will be clocked at 1100 MHz. These chips will also have a configurable TDP of 45W while the Core i9 chip is expected to go up to 65W depending on the notebook power and cooling solutions available.

Intel Also Preps Two Xeon 6 Core Parts For Mobility, One is Clocked at 4.8 GHz
Moving on to the Xeon lineup, Intel is expected to launch two Xeon parts with 6 cores and 12 threads. The first one would be the Xeon E-2186M which is a 12 MB cache part with 4.3 GHz all core and 4.8 GHz single core boost. The Xeon E-2176M is a similar part but comes with a lower frequency range of 2.70 GHz base, 4.1 GHz (all core) and 4.4 GHz (one core boost) frequencies. Most important thing to note here is that the Core i9-8950HK and Xeon E-2186M which are the flagship parts will be default clocked at a boost rate of 4.8 GHz which is the highest frequency mobile processors have ever hit.
Intel's Upcoming Desktop Coffee Lake-S Parts Including Core i5, Core i3, Pentium and Celeron SKUs Get Pricing
The next major thing is that the upcoming Intel Coffee Lake-S desktop parts have also got their pricing revealed. The new SKUs are expected to launch next month along with the budget tier H370/B360 and H130 parts which will go against the budget tier Ryzen parts.
The first SKU is the Core i5-8600 which will be priced around $213 US while the Core i5-8500 will be priced around $192 US. Moving on, we have the Core i3-8300 which will be priced at $138 US while the Pentium series includes the Gold G5600 for $86 US, Gold G5500 for $75 US, Gold G5400 for $64 US. All Pentium Gold offerings will be dual core and quad threaded chips which was something previously kept exclusive to the Core i3 lineup.
The Celeron parts will include two SKUs that include G4920 for $52 US and G4900 for $42 US. Both of these variants will be based on a dual core design with no multi-threading onboard. Details for these processors such as specifications are listed in the table below:
