Snap up Lonely Planet's Best In Travel free from iBookstore

By

Lonely Planet's Best In Travel is available free from Apple's iBookstore to mark the arrival of the Lonely Planet travel ebooks.

Three Lonely Planet titles are available from Apple's iBookstore for the first time.

The initial range comprises The Travel Book ($27.99), Lonely Planet's Guide to Travel Photography ($24.99), and Lonely Planet's Best in Travel (free until June 14, $9.99 thereafter).

The ebooks use Apple's fixed-layout format, retaining the design of the print editions on the iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.

"We are thrilled to have these fantastic titles available as ebooks for the first time. Lonely Planet's Best in Travel, The Travel Book and Lonely Planet's Guide to Travel Photography are sure to inspire readers to hit the road," said Lonely Planet's trade and reference publisher Piers Pickard.

"They look fantastic, particularly when viewed on an iPad, and we're sure travellers will love having Best in Travel and other titles available in a digital format," he added.
