Apple announces two new Lightning camera kits

Apple Tuesday introduced new camera adapters for its Lightning connector. The company announced a USB camera adapter, and a SD adapter. The difference is one allows users to connect a camera to the device via USB, or plug in a widely used SD memory card. The USB adapter should also work with multi-card readers, which might be a more flexible approach even if more cumberson.

Something of note, each of these adapters retail for $29 each. Previously, Apple included both 30-pin USB and SD adapters for $29. While most users won't need both, the flexibility was a nice option for the money.
